Bookings
Bettr.Academy has a full list of the courses we offer and course descriptions. The most current schedule of course dates and times are always available on our booking engine.
- Before booking a course, please read through the course content to ensure it meets your learning needs and that you satisfy all the pre-requisites (where stated).
- All bookings are to be paid for at the time of booking in order to confirm and secure your place in class.
- Bettr Barista Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to make changes to the programme, date, venue and trainer.
- If we cancel a course at any time, you will have the option to reschedule to the next available date or receive a full refund.
For a course to start, the minimum number of sign-ups must be met. Otherwise, Bettr Academy may have to close that class and reschedule students to alternative class dates/times. If a student is unable to attend any of the proposed alternatives in this case, s/he is entitled to a full refund of the course fee.
Cancellations / Refunds
Request to cancel/withdraw from a course must be submitted in writing to academy@bettrbarista.com at least 72 hours before course commences. Requests made within this time frame are entitled to a full refund subject to a S$30 administrative fee.
Course fees will not be refunded if the request is made in less than 72 hours notice.
If the course run is closed by training provider due to minimum numbers of learners not met, learners will be given a choice to reschedule the class (at no charge). Should learners decide to withdraw, it will be subject to a $30 admin fee.
If the course is cancelled, learners will be given a full refund.
Optional Class Kits
If you've purchased a kit as an add-on to your class, the kit is non-refundable and will be charged at full price.
IMPORTANT: For single course bookings (not packages), students need to attend their class within 3 months of payment, after which no refunds or cancellations will be allowed. Repeated requests to reschedule beyond this 3-month period will not be entertained and your payment will be forfeited.
If you have purchased your course(s) as part of a package, please note that packages are non-refundable and are valid for 9 months from the date of the first class (except where stated otherwise).
Rescheduling
All request to reschedule must be submitted in writing to academy@bettrbarista.com at least 72 hours (3 days) before course commences and will be subject to an admin fee of $30.
Requests to reschedule received with less than 72 hours' notice will not be processed unless accompanied by a valid medical certificate or equivalent subject to an admin fee of $30.
Students will not be allowed to reschedule a class more than twice (unless supported by a valid medical certificate or equivalent). Any re-schedule more than twice will deem the class fees to be forfeited.
Deferment / postponement
Requests to defer a course must be submitted in writing to academy@bettrbarista.com 7 days before course commences and will be subject to an admin fee of $30. Reasons for deferment shall be based on medical or compassionate reasons (proof of evidence is required) and is subject to approval by training organisation.
Learners will need to rebook a scheduled class and complete the class within 6 months from the original course date.
No-show
Course fee is not refundable if learners do not show up for their scheduled class unless accompanied by a valid medical certificate as proof of evidence. Learners will be allowed to reschedule subject to a $30 admin fee.
Virtual classes
Students who are more than 15 minute late for their virtual class, will not be let into the room.
If you have a valid reason or medical certificate for missing the class, do write in to academy@bettrbarista.com to notify us. Any rescheduling request without an MC or valid reason will be subject to a S$30 admin fee (no refunds).
Photography & Videography
All of our classes may be recorded and or photographed, video footage and photos may then be used for news and publicity purposes.
