The SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) is a comprehensive Train-and-Place initiative by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to assist mid-career individuals in acquiring new skills and transitioning into a different industry or role.
At Bettr Academy, our SCTP in Beverage Services is a 3-month programme. Upon completion, trainees will receive internationally-recognised certifications and have the necessary skill set that gives them a competitive edge to smoothly secure employment within F&B.
Our unique programme comprises:
- Industry-focused curriculum taught by certified trainers
- Real-life sharing by F&B subject matter experts
- Technical hands-on skills training in class with a low student-to-machine ratio
- A specialisation in one of three dynamic career pathways within F&B: Specialty Coffee, Specialty Tea, or Mixology
- Job placement support and career coaching
- In addition, we offer a Supported SCTP track designed for individuals who may benefit from additional structure and support as they transition into employment. Additional components offered under this Track include: EQ (emotional intelligence) modules
- Enhanced employment support and job coaching

Request to reschedule must be submitted in writing to academy@bettr.group at least 3 working days before course commences, subject to a $30 admin charge. If the request to reschedule is given less than 3 working days, it will not be approved unless accompanied by a valid medical certificate or equivalent, subject to a $30 admin charge. You may reschedule a class only once. After which, the course fees will be forfeited.
Yes, weekend slots are available for some of our courses. Weekend dates are very popular, so register early!
Upon successful payment of course fees and/or approval of SkillsFuture Credit claim, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 7 working days. If you did not receive an e-mail confirmation, please write in to us.
