Senior Customer Experience Barista

You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest by preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and engaging positively with customers. You will ensure that each interaction is friendly and efficient, provide product recommendations, and handle transactions in the systems accurately. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying knowledgeable about the menu, managing inventory, and contributing to a collaborative and enthusiastic team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage and operate a café outlet, serving as the primary point of presence for a discerning business clientele, with the confidence and professionalism to hold the fort single-handedly.
  • Deliver an elevated and personalized guest experience — anticipating needs, remembering preferences, and ensuring every interaction feels considered and unhurried.
  • Craft consistently high-quality food and beverages to exacting standards, with a strong command of both classic and contemporary techniques.
  • Prepare a diverse repertoire of mocktails and cocktails — from timeless classics to signature house creations — with precision, creativity, and impeccable presentation.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service practices, including age verification and mindful monitoring of guest consumption.
  • Take full ownership of bar setup, stock management, equipment operation, and cleanliness, maintaining an environment that reflects the calibre of the clientele at all times.
  • Manage POS systems, cashless payment devices, and delivery platforms with accuracy and efficiency; conduct daily sales reconciliation and cash tallying at close of business.
  • Cultivate deep product knowledge across the full menu and proactively offer informed, tailored recommendations that enhance the guest experience.
  • Oversee smooth and professional store opening and closing procedures without supervision.
  • Maintain the outlet in a pristine, guest-ready condition throughout all hours of operation.

Special Projects

You may be called upon to support or lead assigned special projects and any other duties as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements / Qualifications: 

  • 3 - 5 years of coffee/barista experience.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Possess the mandatory Basic Food Hygiene Certificate for food handling.
  • A positive work attitude and a team player, excelling in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player and good communication skills.

Salary and job title will depend on your experience as a barista (specifically) and F&B experience (in general), and ability to handle job duties assigned.
