Embarking on a New Journey

This month, as our Bettr Work Training (BWT) Programme trainees embark on their learning journey with us, here’s a glimpse at what they’ve been up to!

WSQ TRAINING

Our Knowledge Lab was a hive of activity on day one of our BWT trainees’ WSQ course! They got acquainted with the ropes of coffee-making, learning to calibrate and pull espresso shots under timed conditions to resemble working behind an espresso bar.

Despite them working at different speeds, it was heartening to see their patience, never hesitating to help each other. We can’t wait to try their coffee!

WELCOME TO ‘BZ’ CAFE

Our trainees certainly had enjoyable rounds of role playing as they were challenged to showcase effective workplace communication, practicing dialogues between a cafe supervisor and trainee barista.

We were extremely happy to see their active participation, and not forgetting to provide constructive feedback to help one another improve their communication skills!
